Colour Gamut
Unfortunately, all processes have limitations and printing is no exception. Printers cannot print every colour known and each printer has a range of colours that it can faithfully reproduce, called a colour gamut and all are significantly less than the human eye.
Therefore, depending on the original, some colours maybe outside of the colour gamut of the print space and these will get pulled into the nearest available printable colour. For reference, our Canon printers print within the RGB colour space. It is always worthwhile arranging a print proof before any significant print run is commenced.
