Like all technologies, they progress over time, and recognising the importance of staying at the cutting edge of printer capability and technology, we upgrade all of our large-format giclée printers every five years.
Our current printers are the renowned Canon imagePROGRAF PRO 4100s. With the ability to print to a width of 44 inches (111.7cm) at a resolution of 2400dpi and with a twelve-colour ink-set, they are unrivalled in their capability to produce high quality fine art prints.
The ink is paramount to quality and consistency and the Canon LUCIA PRO inks are a vital component. Despite the higher cost, compared to non-branded compatible inks, they are formulated specifically to work in harmony with the Canon print heads and make a significant difference to the sharpness and bleed:
